Elite's ISO 17025 NVLAP Assessment

This week at Elite marks another ISO 17025 quality system assessment. The assessment is being performed by NVLAP assessor Dan Hoolihan and will focus on Elite’s testing services for MIL-461E, FCC emissions, and European Union emissions and immunity. This QA evaluation with NVLAP occurs every two years and generally takes a qualified assessor 2 to 3 days to complete. The audit agenda is outlined below.



Tuesday – 02 February 2010
0830 – Opening Meeting
            - Introductions, review of DRAFT Agenda and other issues
0900 – Tour of Lab
1000 – Review of Scope of Accreditation
1030 – Initial Review and Discussion of the Quality Management System
1200 – Noon – Lunch Break
1230 – Review Volumetric Normalized Site Attenuation
1430 – Review radiated emission testing (ANSI C63.4 (2003) with FCC Method 47 CFR Part 15, CISPR 22, CISPR 14, CISPR 11)
1530 – Review conducted emission testing – (Part 15, CISPR 22, CISPR 11)
1630 – Suspend Audit for the day

Wednesday – 03 February 2010
0830 – Resume Audit – Status meeting.
0900 – Review Commercial Immunity Tests (IEC61000-4-x) and MIL-STD 461/462 test methods for immunity
1200 – Noon – Lunch Break
1230 – Review New Tests on Scope Expansion
1630 – Suspend Assessment for the day

Thursday – 04 February 2010
0830 – Resume audit – status meeting
0900 – Review any remaining tests
1000 – Complete paperwork for closing meeting
1100 – Closing Meeting
1200 – Complete Assessment
